Sophie Coletta

45 minutes of strange/avant downer musick, (un)suitably dour and windswept throughout. Stuffed full of atmosphere and malice, reversing through England and out into darkened recesses of Europe and beyond. Dirty ambient; Baudelaire; transmissions from the ambulance station; psilocybin rock; pastoral malaise; gallows hymns from an agoraphobic Chelmsford commune; industrial folk for industrial folk; oppressive summers. All riddled with melancholia and melodrama. Not suitable for optimists.
